Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - A Happy Hello!

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!  This month we will be featuring February's SOTM "A Happy Hello" Item# S1502 which features 15 cute images.   If you have come here from Shalana 's Blog,  you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog:  http://ifyoublingit.blogspot.com/p/stamp-of-month-blog-hop-list.html.

This month we have over 60 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

I wanted to use the colors in the Confetti Wishes paper pack: Canary, Pacifica, Thistle and Lagoon.  And I knew I wanted to do random stamping.  I was inspired by this card on Pinterest. So I masked off the edges of my card base with some washi tape and stamped the different images.  I also used some masks made out of copy paper to cover up the Pacifica images before went on with the other colors.

After I removed the washi tape I stamped the "A Happy Hello!" sentiment and then added a black line around the stamped image using my ruler and Marvy Uchida LePen Journaling Pen.  This card is one layer and clean and simple.  I had to hold myself back from not using any bling or other embellishments.

Here is another version of the same card.  This time I cut out the random stamped area and backed it with some Thistle to make it stand out.

This is my first time participating in a Blog Hop so I hope you'll leave a little comment below as well as comment on all the other beautiful artwork along the hop.  Now "Hop" on over to Katie Hessel's Blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas! Remember, "A Happy Hello" is only available until February 28th!  Click HERE to see how you can get this stamp set at a discount!
