Rose Blossom Garden Challenge

I wanted to play along with the Rose Blossom Garden Challenge this week.  The challenge was to use the Birthday Girl key on the Artiste cartridge this week.  I've actually used this key a lot.  I made a cupcake card, the cupcake box and I used the princess tiara on a card.  So I tried to think of something "outside the box".  So I just cut the bottom of the cupcake box and 2 cupcake outlines out of Colonial White cards stock.  I then used some Chantilly paper to cut the bottom of the cupcake and some cardstock for the icing.  I ran the icing through my cuttle bug and applied some glitz glue.  I didn't like the gap between the icing and the cupcake liner so I added some glitter tape.  I added a handle and I cut a tiny 1" Birthday Girl.  This could be used to give a little treat to a birthday girl.

Disney Layouts

I did these two Disney layouts for two very special sisters.  The older sister is taking a Disney cruise for her honeymoon.  And the younger sister just spent an internship at Disney.  I hope they find time to print out some pictures to put on these pages.  I did use some CTMH cardstock and ribbon on the layouts but that was about it.

Dream Pop Card

I wanted to play along with the Rose Blossom Garden Challenge Blog again this week.  I studied the "P" key on the Artiste cart to try to get an idea but I was out of town and little time to put thought to paper, until tonight.  I used the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches but missed the deadline to enter that challenge.  Oh, well.  Here is my card for a fellow CTMH consultant friend of mine.  Her birthday is this week.  I'm not sure if she's had a chance to get the new Dream Pop paper so I thought she would like to have a card made out of it.  I had been wanting to try making a rosettes with washi tape that I saw on Scraptabulous Studio so I combined one of the rosettes on the "P" key on the Artiste cart with this idea.
