Paw prints sympathy card

Unfortunately I had to make a sympathy card for one of my friends that lost their furbaby.  I used some retired CTMH paper and cut a heart at 1 1/2 inches and 4 ovals at 1/2 inch out of black card stock.  I used the Happy to Be Friends stamp set for the sentiment.  I totally cased this card from this card on Pinterest.

Here is another version just a white card base and some black glitter paper accent.

I needed a thank you gift for two ladies that are so helpful to me at work.  I used the super cute Hostess stamp set called "Cuddly Salutations" to make a gift box and some small 3 x 3 cards to go inside.  They are both animal lovers so I knew they would like this.  I used Lagoon Card Stock to cut the boxes from the Artiste Cricut Cartridge (page 44).

My cards are made from White and Lagoon Card Stock.

And of course I used my ShinHan markers to color in the little critters.

During the month of July when you place an order for $25 in current, retail priced stamps you will qualify for EITHER the July Stamp of the Month for FREE, OR any of the Hostess Rewards stamps for $5!  Hostess Rewards stamp sets are usually only available as part of the Hostess Rewards program, which means now is the time to JUMP ON IT!  This offer is only available in July.

Fairy Garden

I finally broke down and made a fairy garden.  My friend gave me a bench her husband made from Popsicle sticks.  I found this cute distressed drawer that is about 6 1/2 x 13 with a cute glass knob on the front.  I added a mini tree, some ground cover and some mini chicks and hens.  I then covered the dirt with moss.  Then I added some sand for a path to the bench and some colorful mushrooms.  In the ground cover I have a bird bath with a little frog in it.  And of course my fairy sitting on the bench.  So stinkin' cute I can't stand it.  I hope I don't kill the plants!  I don't have a very green thumb but am now hooked and would love to make another one.  Thanks for looking!  Have you tried to make a fairy garden?

For my card I decided to use some left over Blossom paper, some Sunset and Lagoon Cardstock and a sketch from Mojo Monday to make my card.  I also used my ShinHan markers to color the balloons.

Remember this cute stamp set will retire at the end of August so you'll want to order yours now.  Did you know that CTMH will donate $3 of the proceeds of the sale of this stamp set to Operation Smile?  Operation Smile has performed over 220,000 surgical procedures to correct facial deformities in children.
