Twice as Nice with Chantilly

Why make one card when you can make two?  I know two young ladies with upcoming birthdays so I decided to make two of the same card.  I used the card pattern from the Chantilly Card Work Shop on the Go and added a little bling with the shimmer tape.  I love this stamp set.  Want your own?  Shop here .  While you are there check out the While Supplies Last section for some bargains.

Birthday Card for a special lady

I made this 5 x 7 birthday card for someone special who is turning 80 next Friday.  I didn't want to put any numbers on the card because because a lady never wants to be reminded of her age. 

I used the new Silver Shimmer trim ribbon on the outside and inside.  A few cricut cuts, some embossing with the cuttle bug, some bling, some Glitz Glitter Gel, sparkly pink ribbon and of course the beautiful Lucy paper.  I am entering this card in this weeks challenge over at H2H Challeng Blog . They are challenging you to GO BIG and make a card bigger that the usual A2 card size (4.5 x 5.25).
